Ora Zho (b. 1985, Taipei, Taiwan) received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from York University, Toronto, Canada in 2006 and her MFA from Yale University, New Haven, USA in 2012.
Zho makes photographic work using film. Her works are an investigation into representations of concrete situations, depictions and ideas that can only be realized in photography. By emphasizing aesthetics, she creates work in which a fascination with the clarity of content and an uncompromising attitude towards conceptual and minimal art can be found.
